Kevin brings a wealth of experience and a unique perspective to his role, shaped by a fascinating professional journey and profound life experiences. A Career Forged in the Evolution of IT
Kevin’s professional journey in Information Technology is a testament to his adaptability and deep-seated expertise, beginning in the dynamic landscape of the 1990s. He launched his career with a consulting firm named CompNet, immersing himself in the burgeoning world of IT. As the new millennium dawned, Kevin transitioned to Elite Information Systems in Los Angeles around 2000, further honing his skills. His path then led him to Lennar Corp, where he contributed his expertise from 2003 to 2006, followed by a tenure at the global engineering firm CH2M HILL until 2010.
Upon his relocation to Colorado in 2010, Kevin dedicated over a decade of service to BNC before ultimately bringing his extensive experience to CKT. This rich and varied background has equipped him with a profound understanding of IT systems across diverse organizational structures and technological eras.
The Senior System Engineer: A Role of Continuous Learning
At CKT, Kevin serves as a Senior System Engineer, a role he finds particularly rewarding. When asked what he likes best about his position, Kevin emphasizes the unparalleled opportunity to engage with a multitude of clients spanning various industries. “I have the opportunity to work with many different clients in many different fields,” he shares, “and it opens up the doors for me to learn new things other than I.T. that other I.T. jobs do not provide.” This passion for continuous learning and his ability to apply his deep technical knowledge to diverse business contexts make him a tremendous resource for our clients and our team.
A Glimpse into the Life of Kevin Ngo
While he is a master of systems and technology today, Kevin once had a different path in mind. As a child, he aspired to become a medical doctor, a dream that, as he wisely notes, shifted as “life does not go as plan.”
Kevin’s life has been shaped by extraordinary events, including a harrowing experience that has instilled in him a deep sense of resilience. He shared with us his memory of “the experience to escape the motherland with people on a wooden boat and sailed across the ocean. It was scary.” This incredible journey speaks volumes about his courage and perseverance.
When asked who he admires most, Kevin points to a significant historical figure: Ronald Reagan. He explains that Reagan’s role in ending the Cold War and the subsequent global changes profoundly “affected my life.” In his downtime, Kevin enjoys the quiet contemplation of reading and fishing.
